Yoga Makes Me a Better Person
What is Yoga to you? 🙂 Well, it’s a powerful self-reflective question, just like Yoga itself. Physically, I’ve come to understand that while everyone’s body is unique, finding a balance of strength and flexibility is essential and beneficial. Instead of only pursuing flexibility through training, I realize that regular Yoga routine practice helps me build up strength, naturally leading to improved flexibility. Mentally, Yoga embodies discipline and spontaneity for me. Yoga practice allows me to quiet my mind, discover inner peace among the chaos of daily life, and gain a sense of clarity then I can focus on my thoughts later. It provides me with more space to explore and express myself through movement, breath, and meditation.
Being part of the warm Yoga Kumar community, I immensely enjoy my Yoga journey here. It reminds me of the interconnectedness of individuals and the importance of compassion and kindness toward others. Although Yoga is a personal life long practice, it’s truly inspiring to witness each other’s growth and progress along this beautiful journey.
In many ways, Yoga teaches me that life is a continuous dance of seeking equilibrium amidst the constant fluctuations and challenges. And YES, Yoga makes me a better person.
